CAM Superline Equipment Trailers (3-8 ton models) Features & Benefits Jack - CAM Superline equipment trailers come standard with a 7k bolt-on drop-leg jack (12k is standard on 8-ton trailers). This enables the trailers to be adjusted with ease, even when the trailer is loaded. Hitch - The CAM Superline hitch is adjustable from multiple truck hitch heights. This allows you to easily change between a ball hitch and a pintle ring as well as vary the heights of those hitches. Wrapped Fenders - CAM Superline trailers have heavy-duty wrapped diamond-plate fenders for added strength. Tires - Standard radial tires afford greater capacity and wear far longer than bias-ply tires. Paint - Before painting, CAM Superline trailers are acid washed to clean the surface and also etch it to allow for better paint adhesion. After drying, any joints are seam sealed, and an epoxy primer is applied as an additional layer of corrosion protection. All CAM Superline trailers are finished with a two-component industrial grade polyurethane paint providing a finish that is resistant to fading, peeling, and corroding. Axles - CAM Superline uses leaf spring axles to support and cushion your load. EZ Lube - Trailers have a grease fitting integrated into each spindle, that when greased, will lubricate both outer and inner bearings and expel contaminated grease. Suspension - CAM Superline trailers are built with a greaseable slipper spring suspension to maintain uniform braking and provide a smooth cargo ride. Light Design/Placement
- Tail and brake lights are flush mounted inside the rear
mainframe members to prevent lens breakage and protect lights from
equipment contact. LED lights are mounted in rubber casings to help
lenses and circuitry last longer. Wiring Harness/Junction Box - All CAM Superline trailers have a T-tap, heat shrunk, one-piece sealed wiring harness. A 7-pin, waterproof, truck-type junction box connects to the truck's plug lead. Grease Fittings - Grease fittings are built in on all swivel points, pins, and cylinders, for longer trailer life. Periodic lubrication is recommended. Breakaway System - All CAM Superline trailers are equipped with a standard solar-charged breakaway system. In the event of a trailer separation from the tow vehicle, this system will apply power to the electric brakes to stop the trailer. Safety Chains - DOT recommended and approved safety chains (3/8" GR 70) are mounted on every equipment trailer. Each chain exceeds the GVWR or the trailer Decking - CAM Superline uses premium 1 1/2" rough cut eastern hemlock for trailer decking, a tight-grained lumber which is durable and strong (8 ton units come standard with oak decking). Wrapped Tongue - All CAM Superline equipment trailers are manufactured with a wrapped tongue. This tongue extends beyond the front of the trailer deck to the mid point of the main frame to help distribute the payload evenly on the trailer. Wheel Studs - All 6- and 7-ton CAM trailers use 9/16" studs to provide greater clamping force, which helps maintain wheel torque. 2-Year Warranty - CAM Superline protects the entire trailer under a 24-month no-hassle warranty from the date of purchase. |
